StuFF strives for a vibrant and accessible student life where everyone feels welcome, regardless of interests or circumstances. We want the time outside the lecture hall to be at least as good as the lecture.

The student union houses

The student union houses are the hub of student life in Linköping and Norrköping. Together with LinTek and Concensus, we own and operate the five sought-after clubhouses in Norrköping and Linköping: Kårallen, Trappan, Kollektivet, [HG] and Örat. These offer both nightclubs, seating, study places, pubs and the possibility to book premises. As a union member, you become part owner of the houses and get a discount on entry to the nightclubs.

KOMBO

Together with the other unions, we also own KOMBO, which is a free tenants' organization that helps with housing issues and housing mediation. You can read more about KOMBO here. We also work to ensure that you have a good working environment, both physically when it comes to, for example, study places or microwave ovens, but also your psychological health. We work to ensure that you do not have to feel mentally ill during your studies, for example stress or burnout is unfortunately common among students. You can always contact student health, the student union or your section's work environment representative if you feel unwell.

Many students get involved in student associations alongside their studies, which are an important part of student life at LiU. There are associations dealing with everything from theater to electronics to canoeing or politics. In other words, there is something for everyone. The student unions are the ones who approve student associations so that they can conduct activities on the Campus. The corps can also assist with support and help if needed.

Reception period (Nolle-P)

Every semester, StuFF coordinates the famous reception, also called the Nolle period or Nolle-P. Nolle-P is a fun and busy period where sponsors guide new students between lectures, games, parties and other activities so that the new students get the best possible start. Our goal is for Linköping University to have Sweden's best reception.
