Christer Carlssons memorial fund
The Christer Carlsson Memorial Fund is managed by the three student unions at LiU; StuFF, LinTek, and Consensus. It is aimed at students and relatives of students who are in need of support during death and grief.
Why the fund exists
Christer Carlsson worked as a student coordinator at Studenthälsan until his passing on November 7, 2010, after a period of illness. Christer's support for individual students and various student organizations has over the years been invaluable and greatly appreciated. It is a great loss that he left behind. One of Christer's wishes was to establish a fund for the relatives of deceased students.
The three student unions LinTek, Consensus, and StuFF joined forces to fulfill Christer's wish and established the fund in Christer Carlsson's name. The student unions want it to be a good way to keep Christer's spirit alive at Linköping University. The fund is also for those who want to organize events or similar activities in connection with a death or crisis.

Who was Christer?
Christer was LiU's "student dad." Under the age of 22, Christer attended an average of 2 parties a week. It was thanks to him that the parties could even be held at the university. In addition to his work related to parties, Christer also made enormous efforts for individual students who were struggling with mental health issues. Christer was simply a true enthusiast who has sacrificed many free evenings and weekends for us students.
